OSA Mineral Water visual identity and packaging design
OSA – is a natural mineral water from a mountain source, remarkable for its purity and the unique mineral content, good for healthy everyday use. The suggested design concept communicates the notion of purity through the idea of light refraction in transparent water. This idea is supported by all the key design elements with a number of graphic techniques, including transparent diagonal “window” of the label, by the typography and the shape of the bottle.
Zoloto Polesja cheese and dairy products visual identity
Zoloto Polesja (Gold of Woodlands) is a cheese and dairy brand from Belarus, the latter being today one of the leading suppliers of semi hard cheeses to the Russian market. Main advantages of the product are natural high-quality ingredients and origin from a region with the perfect ecology. The brand is oriented towards responsible consumer, which is not ready to compromise on quality, pays much attention to the origin and composition of the product and looks for brands with individuality.
Polesje (Woodlands) of Belarus is an area famous for the beauty and richness of its nature that has given inspiration to many poets and musicians. It is no doubt that the real treasure of this area is its unique flora and fauna. This idea formed the basis of the design concept, focused on the unique animals and birds of this geographic area. In total we have created 13 original artworks with various animals and birds. The idea of naturalness is supported by the floral pattern, discreet colors and by the tagline: “Made in the land of forests and fields “. Up to date, packages for 20 different kinds of cheese and butter had been designed.
In addition to the visual appeal and aesthetics, the suggested concept has prompted a number of decisions in the field of social activity of the brand. So, the brand carries out educational tasks, telling a story of one unique animal on the back of the packaging of each product in the range. Animals support in nature reserve in the Bialowieza Forest is planned for the nearest future.
XONOCHOCO Brand concept. Idea, naming, packaging design.
XONOCHOCO is a concept of brand with the truly historical roots, telling us the legend about the ancient Aztecs’ role in chocolate history. The brand name derives from the name of Xoconochco area conquered by the Aztecs, which had the largest plantation of cocoa beans. As we know cocoa beans were valued more than gold and served as currency. XONOCHOCO packaging Design – is the mixed interpretation of archaeological findings and contemporary cultural stereotypes. Aztecs are known as an advanced ancient civilization. According to some researchers an alien civilization could have made their contribution to the development of the ancient Aztecs’ culture. The Aztecs were very religious and in fact bloodthirsty people whose gods needed human victims. Each type of chocolate represents one of the symbols of the Aztecs’ culture. The skull on the chocolate with chili filling symbolizes extreme combination of flavors, at the same time reminding of Aztec cruelty. Alien hints to us that the aliens could play an important role in the development of this civilization.
ZBITEN (traditional Russian low—alcohol beverage). Artwork, packaging design
The new “old” product for Russia: traditional of naturally fermented beverage “Zbiten”. Despite its rich history, this kind of product it little-known to the modern consumer. Zbiten is often confused with kvass or beer. Thus the agency’s task was to create the unique perception for this product letting differentiate it from beer and kvass. Zbiten is a rather new product for retail. The shelf is still being developed. So we were given the opportunity to make the bright design outstanding from the traditional low alcohol drinks. Consumers are well familiar with the Pershin brand which is first of all associated with kvass. Therefore the product but not the brand became more important in the design. Zbiten is a good alternative to beer. One can drink it drink without any snack, enjoying its taste during the rest.
Your own cook. Ready meals. Brand concept, naming, packaging design
Ready to the use frozen meals are one of the most fast-growing segments in the Russian food market. After analyzing the trends in the market, advantages and disadvantages of the competitors as well as the target audience insights we have formulated several hypotheses, one of which was chosen as the basis for the future brand. “The true food” is the idea of natural, simple food without harmful additives. It is right what it has to be – made skillfully and with soul by someone that you have confidence in. It is an open, friendly brand with simple communications. On the basis of the selected concept the brand name “Your own cook (culinary specialist)” has been developed. This name is underlining naturalness of food and confidence to the professional skills of the cook. In this context the phrase “your own” gives to the brand communications a trait of confidentiality. The simple coding is used in the design – we show a ready dish in a most realistic way. At the heart of the packaging design is a mouthwatering photograph of the ready dish, the idea of naturalness is also underlined with the Kraft background for the brand name and cooking instructions.
